From September 2-3, KINTO opened a pop-up shop at "KNOCKING ON THE DOORS TINY GARDEN FESTIVAL" in Gunma prefecture, sponsored by URBAN RESEARCH DOORS. With the theme ‘experience coffee with all of your senses’, KINTO held Drip Station with 2 sections —‘Workshop’ with the guest coffee roaster and ‘Self-drip’ counter where you can choose coffeeware to make pour over coffee on your own. TRAVEL TUMBLER, a product perfect for taking outdoors, was also available for purchase.
For ‘Workshop’, KINTO invited the owner and roaster Yosuke Yamane from AND COFFEE ROASTERS in Kumamoto prefecture to demonstrate the steps of how to make pour over coffee. The participants got to taste the coffee brewed by Mr Yamane before brewing their own using the techniques just learnt. Participants also enjoyed learning about coffee through casual chats with Mr Yamane. The products used for Workshop were SLOW COFFEE STYLE Specialty 04 brewer stand set, POUR OVER KETTLE and ceramic mat from CERAMIC LAB. collection.
At ‘Self-drip’ counter, participants chose from 5 different coffeeware including the new product OCT and SLOW COFFEE STYLE, to make pour over coffee by following the ‘brew guide’. After brewing their own, they enjoyed exchanging and tasting the difference it made when brewed in different coffeeware.
The event where you can enjoy aromatic coffee in the nature was successful and filled with coffee lovers – those who wanted to improve their everyday coffee, and those who learned to make coffee for the first time.
